developing film is suddenly a great kick again, now i have no unprocessed films i'll have to go out and take some more rolls to give me the excuse of developing! scanning is going to have to wait a while though... until i can get a new POWER SUPPLY FOR MY SCANNER. unbelievable, apparently i have thrown away the powersupply to my canon 8800F scanner, it looked identical to the powersupply of an old hp printer i threw away... and getting a replacement isn't proving to be an easy task right now.

on a positive side, my little boy just turned 1 and i got to shoot off a roll of cheap and nasty (but spectacular) east european film for the momentous occasion, which looks fabulous as a negative, you know that feeling you get when you see the negative... and you just know it'll be a good film?

I LOST THE POWERSUPPLY FOR MY SCANNER!
...no new photos from me for a while...

so i have a few films to be developed, and a few to be scanned... the only cool and interesting thing i've done recently was that i diluted my over concentrated diafine solutions so i have 50% of the default concentration. this is supposed to bring more detail into the darker areas of the negative. i've developed two films with this diluted soup, and by the look of the negatives i've got a winner, but i have so little time to concentrate on scanning the films in... so i have nothing to show for my new adventures with diafine.
