Artist's Comments

this is my question, and it is of a serious matter.

what would you honestly do if you lost your vision?

how do you think your reaction would be when you suddenly realised that whatever it was that you just saw, be it a beautiful sunset or a sleepy unkempt face in the morning mirror, was going to be the last image to burn across the retina of your eyes.

could you imagine watching something beautiful that you wish to remember and then closing your eyes until the end, or would you snatch at every last millisecond of the wonders of sight?

...as they slowly fade away into the darkness, during the last seconds of your visual perception.

Conceptional! Dude, apologize... I am so drained! Nothing advanced from me. But do love it!

If I lost my vision, I'd become someone other than myself, but I think strong enough NOT to take a bullet. Glad you sparked the question, reminds me of a time spent with my sister watching HBO documentary about a couple who were deaf. We both agreed we'd accept deafness over blindness without further analysis. Blindness is so much more a handicap! But perhaps in your proposed theoretical event, I may begin to appreciate audio more!

I love it all. Colors, concept behind it... and the fact that when I put my glasses away, its exactly what I see;)

Ever seen Ray (the movie)?

If I went blind, I would stumble a lot. But only at first... :)
