there are things that hide in the dark, which cannot be seen with the shining of a light. things that make you fear for your life, clutching at the last beats of your heart as your imagination goes wild

for some reason i find thick misty nights scary, not to mention in the middle of the night when noone walks the paths where crazy photographers take photos of glowing orbs of light

There's certainly something very disquieting to the frame... how the lights seem to have shifted, bent... one of those occurrences where I know from the goosebumps on my skin and the warning chills down my spine that something is eerily awry.

like as if they're moving slowly away from the poletops to get you?

it was more the actual time and place that scared me, apparently a kid drowned in a drain nearby when my wife was younger (like 20 years ago, not that she's old). and the whole time i kept looking over my shoulder, expecting to see something from the ring timejump towards me and then stand infront of my face... scared the crap out of me, but not enough to stop taking photos!
