all that we build is eventually lost to time and space, structures of greatness become piles of rubble and forgotten dreams
i wanted to try and capture the single glowing floodlamp that shines down upon this new construction. i have a similar shot with a train rolling through the picture but all of its lights and windows were either dark or facing away from the camera... so there's no huge streaking ghost train. film: FOMAPAN Classic 100 exposure: f3.5 1sec exposure index: 200 developing: Diafine 3+3 min (Galon mix in 2.5L) lens: Nippon Kogaku NIKKOR-H 1:3.5 f=50mm filter: none camera: Zensa Bronica S2A Comments
Intense shot! A smaller aperture would have given more depth i think. Well lined up.
-- Greetings from Germany I'm loving the muted contrast in the black and white values... seems to accentuate the desolate note. As if only the buildings with lights on by the train track are of the present... everything else merely a faded past.
